27 valued suppliers from across North America joined Joy Global leaders and employees Aug. 24 in Hartland, WI for their 5th annual charity golf outing benefiting Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity. The event is projected to net over $82,000, bringing the five-year total since 2011 to over $480,000 net raised for Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity.
In addition to this generous donation, Joy Global will be sending volunteers out to the build site during our September Blitz Build where they will work side by side with homeowners to begin construction on two new homes in the Washington Park Neighborhood.
Join us for a very special ceremony as we kick off our September Blitz Build. We will welcome Archbishop Listecki to the ceremony who will bless Milwaukee Habitat’s second “Pope Francis House,” the third new home being constructed during the blitz, as well as Jeff Schmaling, President-Americas North and the Executive Sponsor of Joy Global’s Habitat for Humanity efforts.
