RESTORE IS NOW OPEN!!          Check out our new (but under construction)  Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity ReStore web site! The Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity ReStore is now open at the old "Sam's Club" at 801 South 60th Street in West Allis.  We are accepting donations of new and saleable used building materials for resale to the general public, the proceeds from which will fund Habitat projects.  ReStore Hours:  Please see the ReStore web site for the current hours of operation.   Have any items that you're interested in donating? Call Jeri Kavanaugh at (414) 257-9078 to see if your material can be used in the ReStore.   We accept the following: Appliances (working condition and less than 5 years old) Lights, Lamps Sinks, Vanities Floor covering Lumber Electrical supplies Plumbing supplies Furniture, yard furniture Tools, electrical tools that still are in working order, rakes and shovels. If in doubt, call Jeri at (414) 257-9078 to be sure your items qualify.   We are looking for volunteers to help us out in many different ways -- including to make pickups of donations for the ReStore. These individuals should have good driving records, be able to lift 50 to 100 pounds, be comfortable driving a truck with a trailor and be able to read a map.
