Many sponsors lend their support year after year; some with primary sponsorships, others with partial funding and dedicated volunteers. Still others provide materials and services. We are so very grateful for all the support we receive. We would not be able to continue our work without it.
More than 200 congregations support Habitat's work. Many like the Episcopal, Presbyterian and Methodist churches work in coalitions to sponsor a home.
On occasion, even individuals have banded together to complete a project. In 2002 the Girlfriends raised a Habitat home. This year Cathy Schaefer is doing the same at the Friendship House ... friends asking friends to help.
Over the years Milwaukee Habitat has also benefitted from the Schwartz-Gives-Back Program and the We Care Program (#511060) at Pick 'n Save.
