Milwaukee Habitat Intern and County Executive Build Brand-New Home

Milwaukee Habitat Intern and County Executive Build Brand-New Home

On Thursday, County Executive David Crowley joined Milwaukee County employees and Habitat staff to help build a brand-new home.

Working alongside the County Executive was Jay, a Habitat intern participating in the WRTP | BIG STEP program, a workforce development organization that connects people to jobs in construction, manufacturing, and other trades.

Jay grew up just a few blocks from the home under construction and is excited to play a role in bringing affordable homeownership opportunities to his old neighborhood.
