Milwaukee Habitat launches Pope Leo Village Project
The Pope Leo Village Project will help build seven new homes in Milwaukee’s Harambee neighborhood.
The project is part of a national initiative sponsored by an anonymous donor, supporting the construction of 250 new homes across 21 cities nationwide. The initiative aims to expand access to affordable homeownership for low- to middle-income families.
Auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, Bishop Jeffrey R. Haines, came to a Milwaukee Habitat build site on Friday to bless the home.
