Group Opportunities

Group volunteer opportunities are available all year. Great for team building and always fun - pull together family, friends, co-workers, or members of your faith community to make a difference together. Schedule a call with our Volunteer Coordinator to talk about opportunities:

Who Builds with Habitat?

Corporate Groups

Corporate partners enjoy team-building volunteer opportunities, media benefits, and more.

Community Groups

College Clubs, Rotary Clubs, Garden Clubs and many others are important partners in our neighborhoods.

Faith-Based Groups

Faith-based groups are important partners in our mission. Building together allows entire congregations to put their faith into action.

Friends & Family

Celebrate a special milestone or just gather for a Saturday. Volunteering with your family and friends is a great way to make an impact and grow together.

Construction Group Information

  • Volunteer opportunities are offered Wednesday - Saturday only.
  • Construction volunteer opportunities are a full day commitment from 8:15am - 3pm. Due to the nature of construction we do not offer half days or split shifts.
  • All volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Youth groups must have at least one adult per 5 minors and are limited to certain tasks (no high ladders, no power tools). We do not allow anyone under the age of 16 at our build sites.
  • We release group volunteer dates every 2 months based on our anticipated construction production schedule.
  • Group dates are available year around, but the majority of volunteer opportunities are available April through October. Fewer group dates are available November through March.
  • Priority scheduling is given to sponsors. Dates not selected by sponsors will be offered on a first come first serve basis to any group.
  • Group size is determined by the task and size of home for safety and workload reasons. Most tasks can accommodate groups of 8-10 with some tasks as few as 4 or as many as 15 (these are limited).
  • Larger groups take more coordination on our end to ensure you will be serving in the same neighborhood. For this reason, we highly recommend securing a team build sponsorship with us to receive priority scheduling.

Ready to bring your group to volunteer? Schedule your group leader orientation with Caroline Martini using THIS LINK. After a short conversation about your volunteer goals and what to expect, you will receive access to reserve your first group volunteer date.
