This week more than 100 women from across the area will join together in Milwaukee’s Midtown neighborhood to combat our city’s affordable housing crisis through Milwaukee Habitat’s Women Build.
Though our neighborhoods are comprised largely of women and children, they are also the population’s most likely to be affected by poor living conditions. Our Women Build provides the opportunity for women to take a proactive step in serving their communities.
Volunteers will help to build seven Habitat homes over the course of three build days during the Women Build. If you’d like to support their efforts, your donation will help fund the materials they’ll use on site.
