Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday, a global holiday to give back. During this season of giving, we’re debuting a collection of heart-warming stories from long-time Milwaukee Habitat homeowners who’ve recently paid off their homes. To celebrate, families burned their mortgage documents – each proudly labeled “PIF” – Paid in Full.
Trinette reminds us that homeowners in the Milwaukee Habitat program are never alone, in homeownership or in faith. She is grateful that Habitat taught her how to independently take care of her home, yet knowing there is always support available. She thanks God for directing her path and teaching her to “not shy back.”
