Their faith tradition teaches to ‘love thy neighbor.’ Milwaukee area Presbyterian Churches are putting their faith into action by helping local families in need of safe, affordable housing by partnering with Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity.
The coalition of Presbyterian Churches has sponsored the construction of 19 brand new safe, affordable homes in Milwaukee and this year are raising the walls to number 20. With their support 20 local families are building the foundation for a brighter future in a safe, stable home they can truly call their own.
Habitat homeowners work alongside Presbyterian Coalition members to build their homes and thanks to the Coalition’s support, the homeowners’ mortgage is affordable.
