Dan Karrels started volunteering with Milwaukee Habitat in 1994, when he recently retired from teaching. Dan is one of our main “go-to” volunteers for just about everything! Dan is great at doing all the skilled carpentry work, such as building porches, stairs, trim-work, hanging drywall, installing cabinets… the list goes on and on!
But Dan’s awesomeness doesn’t stop there: he also excels teaching new volunteers the ropes, and we could not be more grateful to have such a great mentor on-site who creates such a warm, positive and fun learning environment.
