Gary Klump started volunteering with Habitat for Humanity in 2004 in Kentucky. In the summer of 2013, he decided to put his time and skills to work at Milwaukee Habitat.
Gary has arranged his busy schedule, which includes working a towards his second Master’s degree and a work schedule, so that he is free one day a week to volunteer at Milwaukee Habitat. He makes volunteering on the build sites a priority in his schedule because he likes to work to help other people and to challenge himself with new opportunities, which may soon include getting up on a roof—something that both terrifies and excites him!
And finally, if Gary were a tool on the worksite, he would be a hammer because (like Mac from the TV show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) he likes to smash things!
Milwaukee Habitat thanks Gary for his hard work and commitment to our mission!
