Vic Delisle started volunteering with Milwaukee Habitat in 1986 when his church, St. Pius X, sponsored a Habitat house. He was a part-time volunteer until 1993, when he retired and started volunteering on a weekly basis. Vic served as the house leader for many houses that were built throughout the years.
These days you can find Vic working in Milwaukee Habitat’s wood shop, preparing the materials for the worksite. When asked what keeps him coming back, Vic says all of the people he meets, the mission, working with his hands, and good food (once in a while).
Milwaukee Habitat greatly appreciates all of Vic’s hard work and dedication over the last 28 years!
